Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure safety compliance and proper maintenance.
- Organize and stock inventory on shelves, racks, and pallets according to company standards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents.
- Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient workflow.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
