Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts (including RF scanners) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift forklift inspections and routine maintenance to ensure equipment safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and logging stock movements into the management system.
- Ensure strict adherence to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent workplace accidents.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize warehouse flow and meet daily production targets.
- Assist in organizing and securing pallets to ensure safe storage and transport.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to obtain a Material Handler License if required by state regulations.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
