Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and documenting stock movements.
- Ensure the warehouse floor remains organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies regarding material handling.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with handheld scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
