Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts daily for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations (OSHA).
- Verify inventory accuracy by counting stock and tagging items correctly.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Assist in organizing warehouse aisles and ensuring proper signage.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and tagging.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
