Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials.
- Inspect forklifts for any mechanical issues before starting the shift and report any maintenance needs.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts by performing cycle counts and stocking duties.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) or valid Forklift License is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and understand safety instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for logging work hours and inventory tracking.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
