Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Manage inventory by accurately counting, scanning, and recording stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Ensure safety compliance by adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition before use.
- Maintain a clean work area by sweeping, organizing, and removing debris from the warehouse floor.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production goals and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Experience: Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform manual labor.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Availability: Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
