Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
- Verify inventory accuracy by checking and recording stock movements in the warehouse management system.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient workflow.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or damaged goods immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts (Stand-up, Reach, or Pallet Jack) in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a full-time basis.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy for data entry, and a commitment to safety.
