Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning.
- Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a zero-accident environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient warehouse flow.
- Load and unload trucks using proper handling techniques to prevent damage to products.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (reach truck, cherry picker, or sit-down forklift experience preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
