Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Perform routine pre-shift and post-shift inspections of all forklift equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through barcode scanning and documentation to ensure stock accuracy.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies regarding heavy machinery operation.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and reaching overhead.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and comprehend safety labels and inventory lists.
