Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Load and unload shipments from trailers, trucks, and railcars.
- Verify inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts and maintaining proper documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFOT) license or equivalent experience.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous forklift operating experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
