Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and reporting any mechanical issues to maintenance immediately.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Organize and stack pallets efficiently to optimize warehouse storage and maintain aisle clearance.
- Utilize RF scanners and inventory management software to maintain accurate stock levels and documentation.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) is mandatory.
- Experience: Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- License: Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
