Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and dock areas.
- Ensure all inventory is accurately counted, tagged, and stored according to safety and organizational protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform routine pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Handle hazardous materials and heavy loads with the utmost care and precision.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator with a valid certification (e.g., OSHA, ANSI).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
