Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to handle the movement of heavy loads in our distribution center. You will ensure that inventory is stored correctly and shipped out efficiently while maintaining a zero-accident record.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Inspect forklift equipment for safety hazards before operation.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and ensure correct stock placement.
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company policies strictly.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving goals.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or damaged goods immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Must provide valid card).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
