Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks, to move materials efficiently.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers using proper securing techniques.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and proper documentation.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure safety and operational readiness.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies strictly.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification required (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and logging.
