Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload shipments accurately, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Perform routine inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records.
- Inspect equipment daily and report any mechanical issues to maintenance immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory and hours.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
