Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (Reach Truck, Order Picker, etc.) safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure machinery is in safe operating condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Organize warehouse inventory and ensure accurate stock placement in designated zones.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily production goals.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including logbooks and delivery manifests, accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to verify inventory accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
