Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and handled with care.
- Inspect equipment daily for any mechanical issues or safety hazards before use.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock in designated areas.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent workplace accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous experience operating a forklift is preferred (certification required).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Valid California driver's license (not always required for forklift, but good to have).
