Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move products throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately check and record incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring all inventory is organized and labeled correctly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in picking and packing orders to meet daily productivity targets and customer satisfaction goals.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts is preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory counts and safety checks.
