Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and reach forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues and perform routine maintenance checks before shifts.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders to meet daily production targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff regarding inventory needs.
- Verify counts and document any discrepancies in the inventory management system.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (Certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
