Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operators to manage the efficient movement of goods in our Virginia Beach facility. You will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery and inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and handled with care.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and scanning.
- Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
