Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks) to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock, checking tags, and logging production data.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure safe navigation.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas efficiently.
- Assist in the packaging and labeling of goods for shipment or storage.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret shipping labels.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
