Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate stock placement in designated storage areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist in shipping and receiving duties, including preparing orders for delivery.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during all operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (Must be provided).
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and inventory tracking systems.
- Proven track record of safety-conscious work habits.
