Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Perform routine safety inspections of all forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and verifying stock levels.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient warehouse flow.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments for local and regional delivery.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred but not strictly required.
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training and obtain necessary certifications.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Basic math and reading skills for inventory verification.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to workplace safety.
