As a Forklift Operator, you will be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring inventory is moved safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of all machinery to ensure safety compliance and proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are organized and accessible.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to prevent accidents.
- Assist in the shipping and receiving process during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is required.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
