Job Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe operation of material handling equipment to ensure the smooth flow of inventory within our high-volume distribution center.

Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently according to OSHA guidelines.
- Load and unload freight trucks, pallets, and containers with accuracy and speed.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated areas to maximize warehouse space and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
- Assist in general warehouse duties such as sweeping, organizing, and labeling stock.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding inventory levels and equipment issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math and reading skills for inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and team collaboration.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights and weekends.
