Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the accurate counting and organization of stock, ensuring inventory levels are maintained according to warehouse standards.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately to meet customer delivery deadlines.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately to the supervisor.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of debris to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No prior forklift experience is required; we will train the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting stock and handling merchandise.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and committed to a full-time schedule.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Communication Skills: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
