Job Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our facility. You will work closely with our inventory management team to ensure accurate stock levels and timely order fulfillment. We pride ourselves on low turnover and a supportive culture.
Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate sit-down and reach forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts, stock checks, and maintain accurate inventory records using scanning equipment.
- Palletizing & Packaging: Properly stack and secure pallets to ensure stability during transport and storage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping in accordance with customer specifications.
- Organization: Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including organizing shelves and aisles.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- License: Valid Driver's License preferred; a willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus.
- Experience: Previous forklift experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates with strong work ethics.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high accuracy in inventory tracking.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are required.
- Communication: Basic ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
