Responsibilities
- Receiving and Inventory: Accurately receive incoming shipments, verify counts against packing slips, and stock merchandise in designated storage areas.
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick items based on customer orders and pack them securely using appropriate materials.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided upon hiring).
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects before shipping to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Education: High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is preferred but not strictly required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn to use barcode scanners and warehouse management software.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
