Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues and perform basic maintenance checks.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to safety regulations.
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all material handling tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification (training provided for qualified candidates).
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and standing for long periods.
- Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred but not always required).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting.
