Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and organize storage areas to maximize efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding warehouse safety.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator license (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in a standing posture for long shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable attendance record and a commitment to safety.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
