Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock organization and labeling.
- Ensure strict compliance with all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse workflows and meet shipping deadlines.
- Load and unload trucks with precision, ensuring cargo security and proper documentation.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator license (or willing to get certified on the job).
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions if working in yard areas.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counts and documentation.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
