Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to safely load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Ensure all cargo is securely fastened and handled with care to prevent damage during transport.
- Perform routine pre-shift and post-shift inspections on all equipment to verify safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning products and updating digital logs in real-time.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with warehouse leads to ensure timely order fulfillment and workflow optimization.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 or equivalent preferred).
- Minimum 1-2 years of previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen as part of our hiring process.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and overtime when needed.
