Key Duties
Your primary responsibility will be to move materials and products efficiently while adhering to strict safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks to ensure operational readiness.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning barcodes and matching physical stock to orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S safety standards.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFL) license required; willingness to obtain certification if unlicensed.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills for inventory management.
- Must be available to work overtime and weekends as business needs dictate.
