Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Ensure the safe and efficient movement of inventory in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock into the WMS.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and safety checks on all machinery.
- Clean and organize the work area to maintain a professional environment.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to meet daily production targets.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts (e.g., Reach Truck, Order Picker, Counterbalance).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and comprehend documents.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as business needs dictate.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
