Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials and products within our warehouse facility. Your expertise will ensure that our supply chain remains uninterrupted and our inventory is managed accurately.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products throughout the facility.
- Verify inventory accuracy by checking items against shipping documents or work orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety compliance and operational efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required by management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator License (required).
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if needed.
