Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Inspect forklift equipment for safety issues before and after each shift and report any mechanical problems immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by staging, organizing, and storing materials correctly.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines, to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Perform daily quality checks on products and prepare them for shipping.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for long periods.
- Must possess a valid driver's license (Class A or B preferred but not required for entry-level).
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills are essential for inventory management.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude are required.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
