Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down, reach, and stand-up forklifts to move materials and products safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers, pallets, and skids in a timely manner to meet production deadlines.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections and maintenance checks on all forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S warehouse standards.
- Accurately scan and track inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
