Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and stand-up riders) to move, load, and unload materials with precision and care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on forklift equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Accurately count, label, and verify inventory levels during receiving and shipping processes.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Secure cargo properly using straps, chains, and bracing to prevent damage during transport.
Qualifications
- Current, valid OSHA forklift certification (Must provide copy of card).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience operating material handling equipment in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
