Responsibilities
- Operate various types of forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., Reach Trucks, Order Pickers) safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Verify inventory counts and document stock movements accurately using warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all 5S safety standards.
- Inspect equipment for any mechanical issues or safety hazards before and after each shift.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFP) license or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and bending/reaching frequently.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking software.
