Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and dock areas.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure safety and functionality; report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning barcodes and maintaining organized stockpiles.
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) or ability to obtain certification.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid driver's license (not always required for warehouse, but good to mention if relevant; usually forklift operators don't drive trucks, just the forklift. I will stick to standard warehouse requirements).
