Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to designated storage areas or shipping docks efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in cycle counts as required.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with all OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Follow proper lifting techniques and safety protocols to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Class I, II, or III) with valid certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional forklift experience in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
