Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Manually operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks to move, locate, and stack merchandise within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, tag, and stock incoming materials to maintain inventory records.
- Load/Unload Operations: Efficiently load and unload trucks using proper safety straps and equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies; perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Organization: Maintain a neat and organized work area, including proper labeling of all stock.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of professional forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk frequently, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and order fulfillment.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Reliable attendance is required; flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
