Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and stage materials according to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counting and stock reconciliation.
- Ensure the warehouse floor remains clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize shipping and receiving schedules.
- Perform routine pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and maintenance.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling (1+ years preferred).
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
