Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load and unload materials from trailers, railcars, and trucks.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment following all OSHA regulations.
- Verify and count inventory accurately during the receiving and shipping processes.
- Stack and arrange cargo to ensure stability and prevent damage.
- Report any mechanical issues with equipment or safety hazards immediately to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA compliant) with a valid license.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent vision and attention to detail for inventory accuracy.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
