Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks before each shift.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy of quantity and condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding material handling and warehouse safety.
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
