Job Overview
As a Picker Packer, you will be responsible for processing orders efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy. This role is perfect for those looking for immediate employment and growth within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities
- Pull and prepare merchandise for shipment by scanning items and verifying order details.
- Package items securely using bubble wrap, boxes, and tape to ensure safe transit.
- Label packages with correct shipping addresses and barcodes.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (certification preferred).
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace to comply with safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory audits and stock organization as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is a plus.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
