Responsibilities
- Operate electric and gas forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently through the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment and work areas to identify potential hazards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and accurate shipment preparation.
- Organize and secure cargo to prevent damage during transit and storage.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) is preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory for the right attitude.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and logging inventory data.
- Must be available to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
