Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load and unload materials safely.
- Verify and count items received to ensure they match purchase orders.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, strictly adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues before and after each shift.
- Transport materials to designated storage areas or loading docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks.
- Assist with inventory management and stock organization.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating stand-up forklifts or reach trucks.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
