Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials.
- Inventory Management: Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing cargo, ensuring accuracy in stock levels.
- Stocking: Organize and stock inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring proper rotation and accessibility.
- Packing & Labeling: Package and label goods for shipment, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional forklift operating experience.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure accurate inventory counts and safe handling of goods.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance record.
