Responsibilities
- Operate electric and diesel forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated storage areas with precision and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA 10/30 or equivalent) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
